Weston Meadow Pool House

Weston, MA

Designed with relaxation and recreation in mind, this 560 square foot contemporary pool house is rendered in board and batten siding with a striking standing-seam red copper roof. A counterpoint to the traditionally styled main residence, clad in traditional Wissahickon Schist stone and slate, the modern structure is intentionally sited just beyond the entry courtyard sightline on a treelined hillside. A high cathedral ceiling with transom windows coupled with a 10-foot glass door system work together to create a light-filled volume, blurring the boundaries between the interior space and the lush exterior surroundings.
