West Bay View

Osterville, MA

Created to bring three generations of family together, this house is sited on a bluff overlooking Barnstable’s West Bay. The front entry seamlessly connects the inside of the home to the coastal atmosphere, and nearly all of the rooms in the house are open to the view and connected by a porch. The architecture is an adaptation of the Shingle Style with a nod to the regional vernacular, mixing in colonial revival detailing and elements.
