Arts & Crafts Revival

Weston, MA

Clad in buff-colored stucco and Dolomitic limestone from Minnesota, this house is quietly set into a slope, forming an amphitheater-like exterior room between its south side and the edge of the formal lawn. A modified butterfly plan locates primary rooms off single-loaded hallways to maximize privacy, daylight, and views. An elegant limestone circular stair wraps a three-story rotunda, bringing in natural light from above.
